Construction and infrastructure capability — delivered as contractor, subcontractor, or operational support partner across five service areas.
Each service is described in detail below. Engagement structures are determined by project scope, location, and contractual requirements.
Roots & Rise Ltd is organized to deliver construction and infrastructure projects, execute subcontracted field scopes, and assist contractors, developers, utilities, and project owners across Jamaica with the workforce, supervision, coordination, and operational systems that construction and infrastructure projects require. The five services below can be engaged individually or in combination, depending on what your project needs.
Infrastructure & utility support
Roots & Rise undertakes infrastructure and utility works as contractor, subcontractor, or field-execution and coordination support partner, depending on the scope and requirements of the engagement. This includes assembling and deploying an appropriate field crew, providing experienced field leadership and supervision, and executing agreed infrastructure and utility works.
Our infrastructure experience includes underground pipeline-related works and related civil and utility works. Depending on the contractual arrangement, Roots & Rise brings experienced field leadership capable of directing and supervising labour crews through the required activities — whether leading the agreed scope directly or working within a project structure established by a principal contractor or client.
The scope and contractual structure of each infrastructure or utility engagement is defined according to the specific requirements and scale of the project, with responsibilities clearly set out in the contract.
- Underground pipeline works
- Subcontracted field scope
- Civil support works
- Drainage works
- Sewer infrastructure
- Water main works
Site operations & supervision
Roots & Rise can provide qualified supervisory personnel — including foremen and senior field supervisors — as part of a project engagement, or assist alongside a client's existing project-management and supervisory structure. The exact role is defined according to project scope and the agreed contractual arrangement.
Day-to-day site coordination is supported by established internal processes for documentation, reporting, and operational communication. These are currently in use and are adapted to the requirements of each engagement.
- Supervisory personnel deploymentForemen and senior field supervisors provided where required under the project scope.
- Supplementary coordination supportSite coordination and operational support provided alongside a client's existing management structure where that arrangement is more appropriate.
- Daily operational reportingActivity tracking, progress communication, safety documentation, and incident recording maintained throughout active site operations.
- Workforce scheduling & coordinationCrew scheduling, workforce coordination, and communication between field personnel and project leadership organized and maintained on an ongoing basis.
Project management support
Roots & Rise can provide dedicated project-management or project-coordination personnel, or work alongside an existing client or contractor project-management structure. The appropriate arrangement is determined by the scope of work, project requirements, and the agreed contract.
Internal reporting templates, communication processes, workforce tracking, and administrative systems support project coordination throughout each engagement. Scheduling and project-control tools are selected or established according to the requirements of the project.
Where required, Roots & Rise can coordinate appropriate equipment, machinery, transport, and specialist resources — including through selected third-party providers — to support the requirements of the engagement. This coordination is organized according to project requirements as part of the broader project-management function.
- MobilizationScope confirmed, personnel assigned, systems established, and project-coordination structure agreed before works begin.
- CoordinationOngoing scheduling, resource management, stakeholder communication, and site coordination maintained throughout active works.
- ReportingProgress reporting, workforce tracking, and administrative documentation maintained and communicated to project leadership on an ongoing basis.
- CompletionWorks concluded with documentation completed, workforce stood down in an organized manner, and final reporting delivered to the client.
Logistics & resource coordination
Roots & Rise coordinates the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to support active field operations. Resource coordination can include material ordering, supplier coordination, equipment scheduling, delivery coordination, staging, and mobilization logistics — depending on the scope of the engagement.
Where third-party equipment, transport, or specialist resources are required, Roots & Rise can coordinate those resources as part of the overall project-support function. The goal is organized, uninterrupted field operations — with logistics planned and managed so that site activity is not delayed by resource gaps.
Workforce mobilization
Roots & Rise recruits, vets, onboards, and deploys field personnel according to the specific requirements of each project engagement. We maintain and can mobilize a network of personnel across a range of construction, infrastructure, technical, supervisory, and project-support disciplines — for example, general labourers, skilled tradespeople, equipment-operation personnel, foremen, technical personnel, and engineering or project-support professionals, among other specialized roles, according to project requirements.
Personnel are mobilized according to project scope, location, required trades, and lead time. We do not present every trade as permanently available in-house — we organize the right people for each engagement based on confirmed requirements.
Field execution capacity — services combined at project scale.
The five services described on this page are not isolated offerings. For larger or more complex project requirements, Roots & Rise combines workforce mobilization, site supervision, project coordination, and logistics management into a single organized operational engagement.
Roots & Rise structures operational capacity according to the requirements of each project — including workforce requirements, required disciplines, project location, schedule and lead time, equipment and resource requirements, and the agreed scope. Capacity scales to match the engagement rather than being fixed to a predetermined size.
Engagement structures vary. Roots & Rise may lead an agreed scope directly, work within a client's existing project structure, operate as a contractor or subcontractor, or provide coordinated operational support — depending on the engagement. Commercial terms, management responsibilities, supervision, and workforce administration are defined during the contracting process.
